My best friend. Both here and back home, he's always had my back. He's saved my life on multiple occasions, so much so that it seems I can never repay him. I will keep trying, though, by living up to the ideals he sees in me.
The son of Rebels who is actually making an attempt to understand the Imperial point of view. Which is more than I can say for many of his constituents. Is attempting a romantic relationship with TK-622, which, honestly, I am in full support of. Someone finally sees that the sergeant is deserving of love and respect, and for that I am willing to put up with all of Dameron's overly optimistic bullshit.
An Imperial defector, who witnessed the firing of the DS-1 weapon firsthand and lived to tell the tale. A remarkable man, both brave and timid at the same time. I get the impression that he's experienced more loss than any one man deserves to.
The Jedi threat, made real. Skywalker is the Rebel responsible for the destruction of the DS-1 battle station. Had I lived another day, he would be the man responsible for my death, as well as TK-622's and millions of others. Says he wants to work for peace, and joined Aegis to prove it. We'll see whether he truly means that, or whether he's still a threat to watch out for.
The commanding officer of Aegis Force, a man who has seen the horrible things that plague this world and decided to do something about it. He doesn't have the full context to be as wary of Jedi as he should be, but he is by the same token willing to have Imperials serve under his leadership. A good man, altogether sound of mind and heart.
A ridiculous mess. But he joined Aegis, so I can tell he's committed to making this world a better place during his time here. The master of wild beasts, who understands the animals in a way I fear I could never do. Plagued by regret for his past actions, the details of which are unknown to me. Overcompensates with silliness, but has a good heart.
A Republic-era clone trooper. Acts as a sort of brother figure to TK-622, and rightly so. Though they differ in their loyalties, they share a connection we natural borns could never replicate.
Dameron's ally from the future. Can hold his own in combat, and at least seems willing to lend an ear to Imperials rather than dismiss us outright.
A Jedi with cloudier intentions than Skywalker. Rigid in his views and uncooperative to boot. Attempts to serve this world, but worth keeping an eye on.
A young man, former drug peddler, who now has reformed himself. Prone to philosophical ramblings (and rampant misspellings), but a good head on his shoulders.
Head of a local psychiatric hospital, a grand judge of character and a man with seemingly lofty ambitions. Well-connected, and willing to share his liaisons with others, which would make him advance through the ranks of the Empire quickly, had he been from my galaxy.
A loyal servant of the Empire. Aide to Grand Admiral Thrawn, who was present on this planet before but is no longer. Vanto himself has returned to Earth, albeit with no memory of his previous stay. A good lad, with a fine head on his shoulders.
Solemn young woman, unused to modern (or what passes for modern on this planet) technology, but with expert combat skills and a drive to do good in the world. If only she would disavow herself of this silly belief in the dead coming back to life...
A helpful gentlemen, seemingly experienced with helping powered individuals learn some semblance of control over their abilities. A kindred spirit of sorts, having to deal with the crap this planet throws at us.
An intelligent young journalist who asks insightful questions and can see to the true heart of matters quickly and without distraction. If anyone is going to tell the public the story of Aegis Force, I am glad it's her.
